Adding Passwords to Prevent Unauthorized Opening of a Workbook in Excel 2007


To enter a password:

1. Select File -> Save as.
2. Click Tools button, select General Options.
3. In General Options dialog box, enter passwords into Password to open and Password to modify boxes, and click OK.
