Sum a single cell from a number of sheets. For example: A workbook has four successive sheets. The names of the sheets are January, February, March and April.
The formula: =SUM(January:April!B2).
Select the sheet in which you want to enter the formula.
Type =SUM(.
Select the tab for the first sheet, January.
Press Shift, and select the tab for the last sheet, April.
