Linking a Cell to a Text Box


The advantage of linking a Text Box to a cell is the ability to format the text within the Text Box and change the Text Box color.

To link a cell to a Text Box object:

1. From the Drawing toolbar, click Text Box.
2. Select the Text Box, and press F2.
3. In the Formula Bar, create a link to a cell by typing = and then selecting the cell.
The contents of the cell are displayed in the Text Box.
