Changing a Numeric Heading to Text


When creating reports you might want to enter the year numbers as headings above the figures:

To prevent the headings from being treated as numbers, change them to text:

• Enter the ' (apostrophe) symbol before the number.
• For example, '2003 will be treated as a text entry.

• Note: the ' (apostrophe) symbol is not visible in the cell.
