Press Ctrl+N.
To open a recently saved workbook:
Select File - > Recent Documents section.
To open a linked workbook:
Select the cell with the linked formula, and press Ctrl+[.
Or
1. Select Data -> Edit Links to Files dialog box (in Manage Connections Group)
2. Select the linked workbook and click Open Source.
To prevent a macro from running while opening a workbook:
Press the Shift key while opening a workbook.
To close a workbook:
Press Ctrl+F4.
Or
Select File -> Close.
