This dashboard shows company’s financial summary on industry estimated revenue vs. actual revenue, revenue by region, revenue by industry, quarterly performance of product.
The main aim of making this dashboard is to let business owner know how the industry is performing concerning different perspectives.
There is a huge pressure on the management to provide faster and transparent information, which helps in determining company’s overall performance.
There are several ways in which you can visualize financial data to understand the company’s goal. In October, ExcelForum team launched a dashboard competition in which you were asked to visualize sample data. The challenge has generated a huge thrill around the community and fetched 118 incredible entries.
Thanks everyone for participating and making this a huge learning experience for everyone. Excel Forum team has learned several useful dashboard and charting tricks.

We have divided this dashboard into 5 sections of information. Let us take a look at each one separately.
Section1:
In this section,you can select industry, region, product, year & sales rep wise from a drop down list. You can view the result by actual revenue or estimated revenue, which is controlled by a drop down list. On the right-hand side, you can view the quarterly performance of the industry for the selected year.
Section2:
This section provides information by filtered year industry-wise in percentage.
Section3:
The below picture is showing information about the top sales rep by industry in percentage.
Section 4:
The below picture will provide region-wise information in percentage.
Section 5:
The last section covers industry-wise information.
Using this dashboard wecan get a clear view of the financial industry and thus we can get the information from various points of view.
