Put a Line at Foot of Print Page in Microsoft Excel 2010

In this article, we will learn how to put a line at foot of print page in Microsoft Excel 2010.

 

To put a line at the foot of each page, follow the below mentioned steps:

 

  • Click on Page Layout ribbon
  • Click on Print Titles

  • The Page Setup dialog box will be displayed

  • Select Header/Footer tab
  • Click on Custom Footer

  • In the Center section of the Footer, type underscores “_” until there are 3 or 4 lines.

  • In print preview, a single line will appear at the foot of each page.

  • If more than a single line shows, remove a number of underscores.
  • To put a page number in the middle of the line, put equal number of underscores on each side of the page code “&[Page]”.
