How do I remove a Password from a workbook in Excel 2010

If you want to enable Password protection in Microsoft Excel File then we can follow the below mentioned instructions.

In the Excel Ribbon, go to the Review Tab

In the Review Tab, Click on Protect Workbook

A small window will popup where you need to give the password. Under Protect workbook for, Structure will be ticked by default.

After you entire the desired password, again a small window will popup which will ask you to reenter the Password

This will enable password protection in your excel file.

If you want to remove the Password from the Microsoft Excel File then we can follow the below mentioned instructions.

In the Excel Ribbon, go to the Review Tab

Enter the password you had given while protecting the workbook.Once you give the authenticated password, then the file will be unprotected.
